Gold Celtic Rings
Our gold Celtic rings are handcrafted to order in our workshop in South Uist, in the heart of the Outer Hebrides — where Scottish goldsmithing tradition meets timeless Celtic artistry. Each ring is made from solid 9ct or 18ct gold, available in yellow, white and rose gold, and individually hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office. These are pieces built not just for today, but for generations to come.
Celtic rings carry a symbolism that has endured for centuries. The knotwork patterns woven into our designs — endless interlocking loops with no beginning and no end — represent eternity, unity and the unbreakable bonds between people. Our spiral designs draw from Pictish stone carvings and early Celtic art, while many of our island-named pieces reflect the landscapes, seaways and heritage of the Outer Hebrides themselves.
Our gold Celtic rings make exceptional Celtic wedding bands, engagement rings and anniversary gifts. At this price point — crafted by hand in a small island workshop rather than produced in a factory — you are not simply buying a ring. You are investing in a piece of Scottish jewellery with genuine provenance, made by skilled goldsmiths who have been creating jewellery on South Uist since 1974.
With over 65 designs available, from bold statement rings to delicate knotwork bands, our collection offers something for every style and occasion. Whether you are drawn to the warmth of yellow gold, the cool elegance of white gold or the romantic tone of rose gold, you will find a design that speaks to you.
Each ring is made to order and arrives beautifully presented, ready to give or to keep. Free UK delivery is included on every order.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are your gold Celtic rings made in Scotland?
Yes — every ring is handcrafted to order in our workshop in South Uist in the Outer Hebrides. We are a small family goldsmithing business that has been making jewellery on the island since 1974. Each piece is made by hand by our skilled goldsmiths before it reaches you — no factory production, no shortcuts.
What gold do you use — 9ct or 18ct?
We offer rings in both 9ct and 18ct gold across our collection, as well as yellow, white and rose gold options depending on the design. Both carats are hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office, guaranteeing purity and authenticity. If you are unsure which carat or gold colour is right for you, please get in touch and we will be happy to advise.
Can I use a gold Celtic ring as a wedding band?
Absolutely — many of our gold Celtic rings are designed specifically as Celtic wedding bands, and others work beautifully in that role. Our knotwork and spiral designs carry a timeless symbolism that makes them a popular choice for weddings, civil ceremonies and commitment rings. If you would like a matching pair or have a custom sizing request, please contact us directly.
Do your gold Celtic rings make a good gift?
They make a truly special gift for a significant occasion — an anniversary, a milestone birthday, an engagement or a wedding. Each ring is hallmarked, handcrafted in Scotland, and arrives beautifully presented and ready to give. With free UK delivery included on every order, a gold Celtic ring from South Uist is one of the most meaningful luxury Scottish gifts you can find.
