St Clements 9ct Gold

Introducing our St Clements 9ct Gold pendant St. Clement’s Church, Rodel, Harris is closely related to the Augustinian nunnery on Iona, a female effigy (known as sheela na gigs) can be found on the South of the Church with a “sister” found in the outer wall on Iona.

St. Clement’s is a treasure trove of late medieval masonry with several fine examples to be found on it’s exterior walls.

The Church is dedicated to St. Clement, the 3rd bishop of Rome (after St. Peter) who was martyred in AD 90.

It is suspected that the church was commissioned by Alexander MacLeod of Dunvegan.

Beyond its religious significance, the St. Clement’s 9ct Gold pendant also holds cultural significance.

Saint Clement is the patron saint of mariners, sailors, and travelers, making the pendant a cherished symbol of protection and guidance for those who venture out to sea or embark on new journeys.

The pendant’s timeless design and meaningful symbolism make it a treasured heirloom that can be passed down through generations, carrying the wearer’s faith, hope, and courage.

Whether worn as a religious symbol, a cultural emblem, or a personal reminder of strength and resilience, the St. Clement’s 9ct Gold pendant exudes elegance, tradition, and timeless beauty
