I bought these earrings in about 1975 when my sister and I had a holiday on South Uist and Barra. I would love to have bought the whole shop out, but was only a student, and even one pair of earrings seemed such an extravagance. They weren’t though, as they are a timeless design and I still wear them now, over 30 years on. I still have the neat little blue box they came in.
